Bruce
has spent decades building novel solutions that help everyday people
conquer healthcare and financial challenges. He created Spence after
realizing millions of Americans have been missing out on HSA benefits
they’re entitled to. He saw a big opportunity to restore fairness
through innovative technology and a uniquely win-win business model.
Before
founding Spence, Bruce led the growth strategy that drove the Midwest
Center for Stress to over $500M in revenue with the #1
non-pharmaceutical treatment for anxiety and depression. He also founded
and successfully exited Save.com, growing it into the globe's most
popular online couponing site.
In
a unique twist for a healthcare and finance leader, Bruce has also
gained notable recognition in entertainment. He co-produced ABC’s
multi-Emmy nominated “Life Goes On“ — the first-ever TV show to feature a
disabled person as a series regular. He received an Academy Award
nomination for the documentary film “Traveling Hopefully.”
He’s a Johns Hopkins alumnus and lives with his family in Los Angeles, CA, where Spence is based.
