Heidi D. Burnett

Heidi is a member of Aon’s People Organization Leadership Team with responsibility for our People Solutions and Impact. Heidi is helping lead Aon’s focus on population health.

Heidi previously managed our Human Sustainability work and was in Aon’s Client Management Organization.

Prior to rejoining Aon in 2023, Heidi served as an advisor to early-stage technology companies in Health and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for two years.  Prior to that, she spent eight years at Mercer as a Global Client Manager and Southern California Market Leader. 

She first began working in the industry in 1989 as a retirement actuarial student with Hewitt in Houston, Texas, after which she worked in multi-practices throughout the firm for 17 years. Heidi has a proven track record of working collaboratively with executives and teams to deliver people and business results.  She is a creative solution and team architect for strategic people programs across multiple disciplines, having worked in large consulting, internal Human Resources, and early-stage tech companies for more than 30 years.

Heidi earned a BA degree in Mathematical Sciences and a BA degree in Managerial Studies from Rice University.
