Henriette Coetzer

As Chief Medical Officer, Henriette provides clinical and subject matter expertise, and executive leadership to BHI’s clinical activities, with a focus on developing evidence-based and data-driven clinical assets that provide insights on quality, efficiency, cost, and healthcare access across BHI’s products. She also works closely with the external data licensing and solutions team supporting our growth in data licensing. Henriette is a member of the BHI Executive Committee, driving toward the development of our analytics to meet the needs of our customers.

Henriette brings a wealth of expertise in population health management, real world evidence generation and HEOR. Her most recent role was as CMO for RWE and patient recruitment at CVS Clinical Trial Services. In this role, she oversaw patient safety, was responsible for leading the Medical Affairs team, and designed real-world evidence generation scientific studies. Prior to CVS, Henriette spent her career as a population health management and clinical risk management expert in diverse organizations including the NHS (UK), Towers Watson (North America), Health Dialog and Healthways (now Tivity). She also served as the chief clinical risk officer for RowdMap (now Cotiviti) working on value-based indicators of optimal provider network design.

Henriette holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Pretoria and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. She completed the US Federation of State Medical Boards Licensing Examinations.
