Dr.
Rebecca Miksad is a mission-driven Physician-Scientist with extensive
expertise in cancer and patient-centric health technology and AI
solutions. As Chief Medical Officer at Color Health, she oversees
Color’s medical and clinical functions, driving the expansion of cancer
screening, diagnostics, care navigation, and survivorship tools for
program participants. Dr. Miksad previously founded and led the
Strategic Affairs team and Research Unit at Flatiron Health, developing
pioneering healthtech products and establishing industry standards for
real-world data. Her work has influenced FDA guidances and advanced
Health Equity initiatives. With over 100 scientific publications, Dr.
Miksad is an internationally recognized leader in oncology, clinical
trials and data science. She established the first High Risk Cancer
Genetics clinic at Boston Medical Center, where she is an Associate
Professor and continues to care for patients. She previously directed
the Gastrointestinal Cancer program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center and conducted NIH-funded research. Clinically trained as a
medical oncologist, Dr. Miksad holds an MD with Honors from Cornell
University and an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness from Harvard University.
