Dr. Victor Maia has an engineering degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), a master's degree in statistics from Universidade de Brasília (UnB), and a Ph.D. in econometrics from Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (Unlam), where his dissertation focused on the Brazilian Social Security system under the paradigm of pension funds. Dr. Maia has worked with statistical arbitrage at Morgan Stanley, served as an advisor for the Brazilian Minister of Social Security, and has 15 years of experience as a Data Scientist. He is also a certified Principal Data Scientist (PDS™) from the Data Science Council of America (DASCA) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
