Alana Baray

Alana is a Director at Commonwealth where she focuses on building solutions for the financially underserved through strategic partnerships, research, and leading teams toward impactful execution. With a focus on supporting employers' adoption of transformational workplace financial benefits, Alana works with leaders to integrate impactful policies, programs, and investments into everyday business.

Prior to joining Commonwealth, Alana was the Director for Inclusive Growth at the Greater Washington Partnership where she worked with a coalition of 30+ companies to implement inclusive and equitable business strategies. As a former international development consultant, she also helped governments and companies in the U.S. and abroad set inclusive economic development strategies through policy and private sector reform. Alana has an MA in International Relations from Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a BA in Sociology from Boston College.
