Lisa Margeson

Lisa Margeson is Managing Director, Retirement Research for Bank of America’s Workplace Benefits. She is responsible for the multi-channel engagement strategy for the firm’s retirement thought leadership, and leads studies focused on workplace benefit trends and utilization, retirement plan participant behavior, and women and financial wellness.

Lisa was previously Head of Retirement Client Experience, where she led the firm’s retirement financial wellness program, as well as participant communication and education programs. Prior to joining Bank of America, Lisa held marketing, communication, and creative services leadership positions with Voya Financial Retirement Solutions, State Street and Fidelity Investments.

Lisa is a board trustee of the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) and serves as EBRI’s Research Chair; a member of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Longevity Economy Steering Committee; and Mentor Chair for Bank of America’s Women’s Exchange/Boston Chapter. Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in Math-Economics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University. She works in the firm’s Boston office and holds FINRA Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.
