Dana Wade

Dana T. Wade is the head of federal programs for the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. She is a former Commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), which she ran from 2017-18 and 2020-21. She also served as an Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she oversaw almost 2,500 employees as well as the $1.3 trillion FHA program. Ms. Wade has held senior roles at the Office of Management and Budget and on the Senate Committees on Appropriations and Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; as well as the House Committees on Budget and Financial Services. She has worked in the private sector as a commercial real estate executive and as a management consultant for Accenture. Ms. Wade holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University.
