Summary

The 2024 Consumer Engagement in Health Care Survey, a health care report of 2,000 privately insured adults surveyed in the U.S., found confusion regarding basic aspects of health plan design. The majority of enrollees were found to have experience using “smart” health technology, but they wished the data generated by this technology could be shared with doctors and health insurers.
