Abdul Al-Asaad is the co-founder
and CEO of Basic Capital, which is reimagining the 401(k) for a new
generation of companies. The platform brings AI-enabled compliance
monitoring, real-time plan visibility, and expanded investment choice
including alternatives and digital assets to employers that have
outgrown legacy retirement infrastructure.
Abdul started his career on the leveraged finance desk at Goldman Sachs and went on to publish research on credit cycles at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He attended Harvard Business School as a Robert Kraft Scholar and Arthur Rock Fellow.
