
Mairead Treanor is a senior associate of finance at the Milken
Institute. Treanor works on the Institute’s Lifetime Financial Security
Program, which focuses on innovative ways to make access to retirement
savings possible for everyone. Prior to her work with the Milken
Institute, Treanor worked in multiple positions with congressional
research, technology policy, and communications strategy with a small
technology firm focusing on helping policymakers stay connected. She
received her master’s in public administration and policy from American
University, where she focused on budgeting, public financial management,
and human capital assets. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in
government and politics, along with a minor in global terrorism, from
the University of Maryland College Park.
