She also handles workplace and human resources issues. Previously, Dhue reported on trade and regulation under the Trump administration, and the housing beat in the aftermath of the financial crisis. Before joining CNBC, she was a correspondent for the PBS program “Nightly Business Report,” where she earned an Emmy award for her work reporting on China as an economic power.
