Alison Mintzer

Alison Cooke Mintzer is Head of ISS Media whose flagship titles include Chief Investment Officer, PLANADVISER, and PLANSPONSOR. She is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the business covering publications, digital assets, and research that are highly regarded across the investment industry for their editorial integrity, objectivity, and leadership. She also oversees ISS Media’s premier conference business in the retirement segment.

Alison has been affiliated with the media brands since 2003, spanning a variety of editorial roles. Prior to assuming leadership of the ISS Media business in 2019, she served as global editor-in-chief of Chief Investment Officer, PLANADVISER, and PLANSPONSOR.

Alison is a recognized and trusted expert on employer-sponsored retirement programs and speaks frequently about various trends and developments affecting the industry. In 2014, she was recognized by Folio: as a Top Woman in Media.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University, with a concentration in economics and a minor in classical civilizations.
