Laurel Taylor is the Founder, CEO, and driving force behind Candidly, the market’s leading student debt optimization platform. To date, Candidly users are on track to save over $1B on their student debt and over 116,000 years in repayment time. Laurel has lived the problem Candidly solves for its customers, both as a leader and policy advocate, and as a student funding her own education. Laurel is a subject matter expert and has been a key contributor on The Hill, successfully advocating for transformative legislation such as the CARES Act and SECURE 2.0. Formerly an executive at Google, Laurel holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from Texas State University, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management.
